The multi award winning Adelaide Convention Centre has an enviable reputation for impeccable service and has put Adelaide on the map as one of the best destinations in the world for conferences and exhibitions. The Centre is in the heart of the city, on the banks of the River Torrens, and boasts dramatic views of parklands and skyline through a stunning curved façade several stories high.


Whether it’s a meeting for thirty, or a conference of 3,500, we cater at the same high standard. The Centre boasts more than 10,000 square metres of pillarless floor space, with a catwalk height of 11 metres. This space can be divided into various sizes and provide an exhibition capacity of 565 booths.


A plenary hall of 2,000 square metres divides into five separate units and has a theatre seating capacity of 3,500 guests. Fourteen meeting rooms of various sizes complete the accommodation picture. Our technical and production services are world-class. We invest in the latest technologies and manage the largest stock of professional audio-visual and production facilities in South Australia.


Kitchens with true state-of-the-art equipment can produce 9,000 meals per sitting, sustainable at 27,000 per day. The quality of our food frequently astounds our guests and special dietary requirements are handled with ease.


The Adelaide Convention Centre’s exciting two stage redevelopment commenced in September 2011 and will significantly increase capacity and flexibility. This expansion will provide three distinct and individually iconic interlinked buildings with total area increasing to approximately 20,000m2, a new plenary hall, ballroom and over 20 new meetings rooms being added. Stage 1 will be complete in 2014 and stage 2 in 2017.
