Description

The Canberra Rex Hotel conference facilities consist of 10 event spaces, including the Hotels state-of-the-art Great Room and the historical Grand Ballroom.

The Hotel offers 900 square metres of innovative conference and event facilities, which can be easily configured to accommodate a variety of different sized events. For board meetings, conferences, gala dinners, weddings and exhibitions the Hotels versatile event spaces can host 16 to 650 guests.

The recently developed Great Room was completed with opulent 4.5 metre high ceilings, an innovative LED coloured lighting system and an advanced audiovisual technology infrastructure incorporating hearing loop capabilities. The Great Room has a seating capacity of 500 delegates, theatre style, or 350 delegates for a stylish seated dinner. The Great Room can be divided in to 5 functional spaces.

The Grand Ballroom has a seating capacity of 260 delegates, theatre style, or 220 delegates for an elegant seated dinner. The Grand Ballroom can be divided in to 2 functional spaces, both with natural light, access to a private bar, entrance and foyer.

Dedicated staff provide professional yet personal service to both small and large events, with a qualified events manager coordinating each event from the initial enquiry through to the conclusion of the event.

Catering options can be provided to suit any style of event, with the Hotel’s team of chefs and event managers working closely with one another to provide you with a personalized menu design upon request.

Guests can be conveniently accommodated in one of the Hotels 157 hotel or suite style accommodation rooms. Rates are inclusive of a wholesome hot buffet breakfast and complimentary onsite parking (subject to availability).
